BABAK ARYAIE Completed his Masters degree of architecture at Tehran University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 1992. After graduation, his work involved residential, commercial and interior design. Design and furniture have always been his great interests. Moving to Australia in 1997 offered Babak many opportunities and motivated him to pursue other interests. In 2003 he established his own design company, Arya Interiors in Sydney, NSW and focused on interior architecture. This was the beginning of his three cornered life, working in construction, interior design and furniture design. His love for furniture greatly increased when he began designing for his own private use. Babak's latest work, 'Stool 60' has been published in various magazines and exhibitions, winning 'The best concept design 2006' at 'The Edge', as well as 'The most commercially viable product' in 'Launchpad' 2006. |
